What's my opinion of the guy? As long as your sister is using birth control and otherwise taking care of herself, then I wouldn't worry. I'm much more concerned about her living under your parents' roof and risking her living situation than I am about the age difference. What type of position is she in, that is, is she some sort of intern who when done with school will be vaulted into a better position than her counterpart? For the most part, I find them annoying. Non-grad students don't really "get" how much of a commitment grad school is.

Ugh, some of the "complaints" you guys come up with. It's the person and their qualities that matters.
As a 24 year old grad student I can't even imagine dating an undergrad, that's a huge difference in maturity and the life experiences are significantly different. We don't want to emulate that. I'd be more concerned about the prospects of a failed relationship with a co-worker than anything else. Can a 40 year old man date a 50 year old woman?
